A diving safari in Egypt: a week on a yacht in the Red Sea, diving its most famous reefs – the Brothers, Elphinstone and Daedalus. The trip suits divers who have just got their Open Water certificate as well as experienced divers: between dives you rest on a premium yacht, and a Divemen instructor travels with the group.
Where we dive
The Brothers
One of the best-known dive sites in Egypt. Steep reef walls covered in soft corals and gorgonians, with coral-covered wrecks nearby. Grey reef, hammerhead and thresher sharks, Napoleon wrasse, tuna and large schools of barracuda are often seen.
Elphinstone Reef
A reef about 180 m long with impressive walls. Currents bring dolphins, mantas, barracuda, giant trevally and oceanic whitetip sharks, and in season a whale shark is possible.
Daedalus Reef
A reef far offshore in open water: steep walls, very clear water, coral gardens and strong currents. Hammerheads, grey reef sharks and tuna are often seen.
Dive sites may change with the weather and the crew's decision.
