About the instructor
Virginijus Mažuika is a diving instructor with many years of experience and the head of the Divemen diving centre in Vilnius. He holds more than 50 PADI, SDI/TDI and EFR ratings, so he teaches complete beginners and experienced divers alike: from an intro dive in the pool to Tec 50, TDI Extended Range and closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) diving on the AP Diving Vision.
How he teaches
"What matters is not passing the course but really learning to dive and feeling safe underwater from the very first minute."
- Safety first: rules, equipment checks and what to do when something unexpected happens.
- Real skills: breathing, buoyancy, orientation and working with a buddy.
- At your pace: attention to every student, especially those who feel uneasy in the water.
- Ready to travel: so your first dive in the sea or abroad is calm and safe.
