Cookie policy

This page explains which cookies divemen.lt uses, what they are for and how you can change your choice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work (for example, so the cart remembers your items); others, only with your consent, help us measure visits and our advertising.

How we use cookies

  • Necessary. Keep the site, the cart and checkout working and remember your cookie choice. They don’t need consent.
  • Statistics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). Show how many people visit, which pages they read and how they use the site, so we can improve it. Microsoft Clarity records mouse movements, scrolling and clicks, but not the text you type. Used only with your consent. If you decline, Google Analytics receives only anonymous signals without cookies or identifiers, from which Google estimates the number of visitors.
  • Marketing (Meta Pixel). Measures the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and shows you more relevant ones. Used only with your consent.

Videos

YouTube and TikTok videos load only when you press play. YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode) or TikTok may then set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time: press “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, or the button below. When you withdraw consent, the statistics and marketing cookies are deleted. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

Cookie settings

We remember your choice for 9 months and then ask again. Each choice is recorded without anything that identifies you (a random ID, the time, the choice, the policy version and the language) and kept for 3 years, so we can show that consent was given.

Who receives data

The statistics and marketing services are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to the United States, to companies in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More about how we handle personal data in our Privacy policy.

Legal basis

We use necessary cookies because the site and shop cannot work without them (Lithuanian Law on Electronic Communications, Article 73(4); GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)). Statistics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
