Description
The Military Line version of the V1 ICE first stage is a balanced diaphragm design with a dry chamber that seals the working diaphragm and prevents freezing in cold water; this protection is also an advantage in heavily silted water. Its breathing performance exceeds the requirements of the latest EN 250A standard and gives smooth breathing in all conditions.
The first stage keeps its performance in any configuration and can be positioned at any angle to the cylinder. It gives ideal hose routing in configurations with downward-facing valves (special forces and rescue teams), on both open circuit and rebreathers. Symmetrical LP and HP ports allow it to be used on side-mounted cylinders clipped to either the right or the left side of the diver.
The body has a highly durable DLC coating: the surface does not reflect light, and the markings, made with the LVM (Low Visibility Marking) system, cannot be seen from a distance. The first stage can be adapted for oxygen use. After assembly and tuning, every regulator is checked by two independent technicians.
