Description
A Military Line sidemount set with two R2 first stages and two reversible TEC2 ML second stages. The first stage is a balanced diaphragm design with a dry chamber that seals the working diaphragm and prevents freezing in cold water; this protection is also an advantage in heavily silted water. Its breathing performance exceeds the requirements of the latest EN 250A standard and gives smooth breathing in all conditions.
The first stage keeps its performance in any configuration and can be positioned at any angle to the cylinder. It gives ideal hose routing in configurations with downward-facing valves (special forces and rescue teams), on both open circuit and rebreathers. Symmetrical LP and HP ports allow it to be used on side-mounted cylinders clipped to either the right or the left side of the diver. A fifth axial LP port is fitted to the turret.
The bodies have a highly durable DLC coating: the surface does not reflect light, and the markings, made with the LVM (Low Visibility Marking) system, cannot be seen from a distance. The regulator can be adapted for oxygen use. The second stage heat exchanger reduces the risk of icing in cold water, and a breathing resistance of about 1 J/l makes breathing easier and helps reduce air consumption. After assembly and tuning, every regulator is checked by two independent technicians.
