Description

PowerJet – TecLine fins for technical, cave and wreck divers.

  • Easier and more precise manoeuvring
  • Very effective modified flutter and frog kicks
  • Perfect fit for standard boots, flex/turbo soles and rock boots
  • Significant savings in the diver's energy and gas consumption

Hardness

  • Soft – for beginners; a great substitute for any soft fins, with all the benefits of jet fins
  • Medium hard and soft – best for long-distance swimming with modified techniques that reduce effort while keeping an even speed
  • Hard – for precision seekers: photographers, survey divers and instructors. This version requires the diver to be really fit.

What is different about PowerJet

  • A longer part of the blade used in the modified flutter and frog kicks (a characteristic 'tongue' sticking out of the fin's outline) makes these techniques more effective
  • A higher side edge and additional longitudinal stabilisers along the blade make swimming backwards easier, reduce the need to close the frog kick precisely and stabilise the foot
  • A much larger blade angle lets you swim close to a silty bottom under a low ceiling, even in boots
  • A modified angle of the foot pocket sole makes it easy to descend in narrow shafts or along a slope, and to change trim quickly by lifting the blades
  • Much larger water vents make the fins more stable: they no longer rock sideways when you accelerate, and less force is needed when swimming slowly
  • Two types of rubber of different hardness: the stiffer stabilisers act like a spring, reducing gas consumption and CO2 build-up
  • Softer rubber in the sole of the foot pocket suits divers with a high instep and those diving in classic rubber boots
  • The spring is fixed above the heel rather than almost under it, so the sides of the foot pocket hold the foot and minimise sideways movement
  • Additional protection against slipping on a wet boat deck
  • Stainless steel spring straps
